A room leader would be part of the management team of the nursery and would manage other staff working within a particular room in the nursery (this could be a baby room/toddler room/pre school room).
You would be responsible for managing staff within the room and ensuring the standards of care and education are met.
Typical duties; Provide leadership and support to staff members working the room, liaise with the nursery manager, provide feedback to carers/parents of the child.
Requirements: – Nurseries would require you to have either a level 2, level 3 diploma or an NNEB qualification. Previous experience as a room leader or may be required, although some nurseries may take on experienced nursery practitioners wanting to move up in their career.
